I think it’s fair to say that the young lead in this promo for Broke’s Let The Youth Go Mad isn’t too worried about the long term effects of smoking and drinking. And whilst drinking leftovers in your pants is something I’m sure we can all relate to, it turns out that he is, in all reality, a champion Danish dancer specialising in ‘jumpstyle’ – not something many of us can claim. Through this video we get to see some of his skills in action, but unfortunately, when he’s distracted dancing, someone else decides to leave with his female companion…

Here’s director Ian Isak Ploug Ochoa on the video: “The idea for this promo actually came from watching a bunch of jumpstyle and hardstyle dancing videos on youtube. A dancing style I find quite fascinating. When the guys from Broke sent me the track I thought it would be fun to mix their music with the dancing, and luckily they agreed. I wrote the storyline and teamed up with the Danish jumpstyle champion Tobias Dahl Larsen, who was not just a good dancer, but also a very great cast for the story!

“I wanted to tell the story about a teenage boy’s juvenile everyday problems with love and heartaches which in the end drives him mad. A story I guess most boys that age can relate to.”
